With respect to the new Options menu:
1. I'm sure you'll make some refinements, but as it stands now, the options would be less discoverable for new users.
2. It might be tough, but it would be nice if the option dialog boxes were not modal. Then switching from one option set to another would be faster.
3. Do you plan to add icons to the labels for some of the menu items?
In genearal, QAP is fantastic and I'm sure all power users love how it can be customized so significantly. It's amazing how you have combined that flexibility with default settings that make it immediately useful for newbies. But if you want to move more novice users to the power user level, I think options need to be more easily found. In general Microsoft Office applications are not great examples of UX design, but the recent addition of "Tell me what you want to do" is very helpful.
