RE: QAP freezing occasionally

I don't think the issue is in QAP, but in the sqlite database itself. Since deleting it solves (or better, removes) the issue.
My asumption is that QAP tries to get something in database, but waits for the abnormally slow answer from sqlite DB. Maybe until a timeout ?
> When does this occur? First time you open the menu after you launched QAP or anytime after when you open the QAP menu?
When this occured, I really do NOT remember if it was the first menu opened or not since QAP start. But most of the time, when issue occured, I stopped QAP then re-launched it.
And I noticed that starting of QAP was generally quite long (icon remained brown a long time before becoming blue). Longer than usually, I don't know (usually, I do not look at the ico : QAP starts automatically with Windows)
But it seems to me that opening first menu after this long restart was fast.
If my remembering is OK, I would say that it is using QAP after a long time with QAP in the background but not really used, that the issue appeared.
> When QAP looks "frozen", is the mouse pointer icon gets stuck to the "wait" icon (blue circle)?
I do not remember exactly, but I would say yes.
> And does it affect other Windows applications or the Windows Explorer?
As far as I remember, the answer is no.
You'll find I'm not vey precise.... but it's because
- it didn't occur often (twice in several months)
- the first time, we had some exchanges and I tried to investigate more in detail
- but the second time, I didn't spend too much time in investigation, but prefered make the issue to disappear by removing the "guilty" database.
Next time (if there is a next time !) if you are interested in, I'll send you a copy of the "guilty" database.
