  Hi Jean,
  
  every times QAP starts, it creates in Temp directory a subdirectory named _QAP_temp_xxxxxxx where xxxxx is a 10 digits number, different at each startup (random ?), all of these directories having nevertheless always exactly the same content.
  But this "temporary" directory is never deleted, and since it is created at each startup with a different xxxxxx it requires from time to time manual purge.
  
  Question 1 : What is the purpose of these temp directory ?
  Question 2 : Why to create it at each time with a new name ? If you created it always under the same name eg. _QAP_temp  (purging it before creation if already exists), this would avoid to have so many _QAP_temp_xxxxx subdirectories in Temp.

  This is a temporary folder where files used during QAP execution are stored. By default, it is created under your %TEMP% but you can set another folder in "Options", "General" tab.

  This folder has a different random name each time QAP is launched in case QAP is launched multiple time on a system. Each instance would use its own temp folder.
  
  This folder is normally deleted when you quit QAP. If you never quit QAP and close your the system in a way that would not allow QAP to properly remove its temporary files, a cleanup job is executed each time you launch QAP (10 seconds after QAP is started) to delete any temp file that would be older than five days.
  
  We now need to find why these temporary folders are not deleted in your environement.

  Thank you for your answer.
  And yes, I just did a test, and  I confirm what you write : with 10.4.2, normal stop of QAP deletes current temp folder. Restart deletes then re-create.
  And folders older than 5 days are deleted after start.
  
  So, I do not understand why I have several folders remaining in my %temp% ???
  Maybe there were a bug in previous version of QAP (10.4.1.1 and before), I don't know.
  
  Whatever, I just purged all QAP temp folders (except current one) and I consider the issue as a false problem.
  And I take note to have a look in 10 days to check.

  Should not. If this re-occurs, please send me a screen capture of the Explorer window showing the list of these temp folders with their last modified date visible.
