Hi,
First of all - thank you jean for an amazing app, and amazing support website. I cannot believe I haven't encountered this great app before!
I wanted to ask if it's possible to support in Qap relative path for file managers - specifically Total commander.
It's shared in a portable utils folder and when specifying ..\totalcmd\totalcmd.exe or ..\totalcmd\wincmd.ini - Qap complains it cannot find TC's configuration file so it cannot be used as a completely portable solution in combination with total commander..

Before I move this thread to the Suggestions section, would a Total Commander user (I'm not a regular TC user) have a solution for asiasd using the current release? If not, this would become a new wishlist item.

Well,
One solution is when running Qap from a batch file to set the top directory as an environment variable and then use this as the configuration for Total Commander
something like:
Code:set utils=%~dp0
~dp0\qap\QuickAccessPopup-32-bit.exe
and then in the configuration set total commander to
Code:%utils%\totalcmd\totalcmd.exe
But this solution is not clean as relative folders Imo
(In case I would restart Qap or run it not from the batch) -

For many years I had a portable solution for all my apps on an USB stick.
In this environment I used a launcher like SyMenu which creates environment variables
for the USB stick drive letter and also provides Auto-start function for USB insertion.
This variables can be perfectly used in QAP configuration entries. -

Where the QAP exe exists.
(One may start QAP it from a different working folder - it should not affect the relative path)

Yes but this method is less relevant if you run portable apps from a networked drive or Vmware mapped folder. -
