  Hi Jean,
  
  I've been looking for AutoHotkey to automatically copy text to the clipboard when the mouse button is held down, moved to select the text and  copied to the clipboard when released. Attached is my file that is working pretty well (I received an error message of
  
  "Please correct the following errors before continuing:
  
      The type of file that you attached is not allowed. Please remove the attachment or choose a different type."  
  
  when trying to attach it with an extension of ahk so I changed the extension to txt.
  
  The problem I'm having is that many / most times when I launch QAP and try to change to a Recent Folder, I receive the attached message that the 'Path or URL copied to the Clipboard' but the application does not changed to the selected folder. It takes several tries to get it to work.

  This is common that files with a script extension (.bat, .vbs, .ah, etc.,) are blocked by email, forum software, etc.

  The message "Path or URL copied to the Clipboard" appear when you select the Alternative menu feature "Copy a Favorite Path or URL".

  There could be an unwanted interaction between your script and the keyboard shortcut to enable this feature.

  Thanks for the suggestions Jean. I have tried them but I'm still seeing the problem. I have attached screenshots of my Alternative Menu Hotkeys. (I'm on version 10.4.2)
  
  What other suggestions do you have to try?

  Hi Dale,
  
  You could try to change the "Alternative Menu Mouse button" to "None" in "Options, Popup Hotkeys" to see if this changes something. If this solve the issue, you would have to search for a conflict/interaction between your script and the hotkey used for the Alternative Menu. Or select an hotkey that would not conflict with your script.

  I tested this AHK script and see no strange messages at all.
  It works fine in my environment.
  Windows 10 x64 Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.815)
  AutoHotkey_1.1.32.00

  The reason I'm asking is because I get a notification from Windows 10 that Quick Access Popup has copied the Path or URL copied to the Clipboard (see attached) .
  
  A work around I figured out is to select the numeric shortcut instead of clicking on it with the mouse.
