  Hi
  
  I  updated from QAP 9.5.3  to 10.3.5
  
  I have couple snippets defined using combo win+key hotkeys that were working fine on 9.5.3 but noticed on 10.3.5 they are not working, some weird behavior like locking windows session, going back to 9.5.3 it worked fine again.
  
  Any ideas?

  Please, check in the Snippets favorite "Advanced Settings" tab if the snippet "Send" type is set to "Text mode" or "Macro mode" (using both versions 9.5.3 and 10.3.5).

  Thanks for the follow up. Try changing the type to "Text mode" in v10.3.5. In this mode, is the snippet pasted the way you expected?

  I tested changing to "text mode" in 10.3.5 but I am still getting some weird behavior, like half pasting while running and extra hotkey. 
  going back to 9.5.3 I got normal behaviour,  really strange.
  
  
  Looks something changed on 10.3.5 vs 9.5.3  that my win10 doesn't like it,  is there a newer autohotkey version on 10.3.5 vs 9.5.3?

  Follow-up: Robert did some tests and discovered if he assigns his favorite to the Ctrl key instead of Win key, it works fine. I don't have more details about his situation but it is known that the Win key has a different behaviour than other modifier keys. Also, Robert discovered that the QAP hotkey does not work over some a specific app window. This could be explained by the fact that this app would run as administrator (see: https://www.quickaccesspopup.com/why-is-...e-windows/). Maybe more findings will come but, with the info I have, this issue does not seem to be specific to QAP.

  There is no general problem using Win key in QAP running Windows 10.
  I make use of it in a lot of favorites.
  Currently I have assigned the following combinations
  Win + A C E F H M O Q Y

  As summary yes I discovered for some reason win key didn't work properly so switching to ctrl key worked fine, not really a big issue.
  Also the thanks for the administration app hint, I wasn't aware of it that the app doesn't allow qap to work on it, so I just tested the same app run without administration and QAP works fine.

  The fact is that QAP can be invoked (using its mouse or keyboard hotkey) only over windows of applications running with the same or lower privileges. When QAP is running with normal privileges, any app running in admin mode will discard the attempts to open the QAP menu over them. And running QAP in admin mode is *not* a recommended solution to this (see: https://www.quickaccesspopup.com/can-i-l...rivileges/). I would recommend to revisit the necessity to run your app with admin privileges.

  As Horst mentioned earlier, even if the Win key behaves differently than other modifier keys in some situation, it can normally be used in QAP shortcuts. The reason why the Win key behaves incorrectly on your system is still unknown, but not a big issue as you stated.
