Hello,

I have used QAP for a long time and it has been a fantastic utility.

I have used it with many programs and I have never had any problems with them, except one: UltraEditor.
UltraEditor refuses to work with QAP when i use the Open File dialog.

I have attached a screenshot from UltraEdit's Open File dialog.

When i run the QAP, the field that is autocompleted, is the ADS Stream, instead of the File Name editbox.

Is there any solution to that problem?

Thanks for reporting this. This is probably because the "ADS Stream" field has the internal name normally used for the "File name" field ("Edit1"). In common practice, the first edit field in a file dialog box is the file name field and is named "Edit1", the next edit field (if it exists) is "Edit2", etc.

At this time, I could not adapt QAP for this very specific situation. Not that I want to push back the issue but this could be reported to UEdit dev team and they could swap the internal names of these two fields to make their dialog box more standard compliant.

Which version of Uedit are you using ?
With UEdit 15.20, it works fine.

I have the latest version (lifetime license).
I will try to contact UEdit dev team.
