Reading the splashtop knowledge base, I found that the splashtop client does not send every key combination to the remote computer. In early November, they began allowing the "PrtSc" key and, from what I can tell, there may still be issues sending the Win + L key to lock the screen on the remote computer.
Since keyboard access might not work, you could access QAP by clicking on the system tray icon, or perhaps even setting it up to respond to a mouse click (Mine responds to to a press of the middle mouse button.)
