There have been many times where I forget where I put a new item I've recently added. It would be able to have a list of recently added bookmarks and the date they were added.

Yes. "Tools, Special Searches, Search All Favorites" and right-click to sort by creation, last modified, or last used date.

I cannot find such sort criteria for "Seach all favorites"
I have only
- Name
- Menu
- Type
- Hotkey
- Location or content

Is there some option to change somewhere to be able to sort on creation/modification/Last used dates ?

I have the same experience as LaurentG. Don't see any date fields in Special Search.
