Problem with v12.2 in Browsers

I installed v12.2 on my Windows 10 desktop today.
When I am in a browser (Firefox, Brave and Edge) I like to open links in a new tab.
I hold down Left Ctr1 and click on the link, the QAP menu pops up when I release Ctr1.
The menu pops up when I release Ctr1 even if I don't click the link.
It is related to Popup Hotkeys options. If I uncheck "Left Control key" in "Open main menu when pressing twice", this does not happen when using the left control key.
Leaving "Right Control key" checked shows the problem behavior.
I uninstalled v12.2 and re-installed v12.1.1 and the problem does not occur.
Also seeing the problem in email like Gmail and Outlook when I press Ctr1+Enter to send a message.
