  Does QAP have a function that switches Open/Save dialog paths to the last (topmost) explorer path?
  
  Example:
  1. Open a folder in windows explorer, for example: c:\test
  2. Run notepad and go to File > Open (or CTRL + O)
  3. The 'Open' dialog from notepad path now automatically switches to c:\test
  
  It's a function that is similar in use in: Direct Folders, Listary ,...
  
  Sorry if this is already asked, I don't know what the default name for this functionality is.

  Yes but not exactly as with Direct Folders.

  I hope you could consider automating it?
  Meaning, the moment an Open/Save dialog becomes active, QAP switches path.

  No this is not automated. I worked on it but decided to put it aside. File dialogs have evolved significantly over Windows versions and applications often customize them heavily, making it a challenge to build this feature in a reliably way.
  
  And there is an alternative that you could easily get used to: when in the dialog box, just press Shift+Ctrl+U to switch it to the current (latest) folder in Explorer.
