I found an odd bug. I'll often use the alternative shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Click to edit a fav and\OR, more often, to quickly get into the customize window.
ill use this screen shot of music playlist as an easy example.
I used Edit Fav shortcut on the 2020 playlist. ( just to quickly get to this window ). Click OK or Cancel ( this happens with both buttons ).
Now if click i on the 2025 playlist and hit the Run fav button. it won't run.
Instead the selection will jump back up to 2020 and bring back the Edit Fav: Window.
It stays stuck on trying edit that menu item from the run button until the window is closed.
I can edit other favs, save them. click on a different item, click run, it will jump back the 2020 ( or which ever item came from the edit via alternative menu shortcut ).
its seems to clear this stuck variable if I use the "Go to Parent menu" button and come back in.
this happens on all menus include the main, not just subs. from the root menu the only get out of this I can find to close and reopen the window.
hmmm.... no I'm in debugging mode for you. I can replacate this with interesting results...
another example from the root menu...
if I use the shortcut on a root menu item, getting stuck in the edit loop. you can enter a sub menu, try to run a fav, it will jump to another item opening its edit fav window.
I just counted them. I opened to edit item #17 on the root\main menu. went into a sub, tried to run item #3, its jumped to #17 in that sub to edit it.
trying a short menu now... this one only has 7 items. try to run #1 and it opens an Empty Edit Fav window which is pre-filled with QCE Options ( see the screen shot. )
its seems to be getting stuck on the Entry Point Index from the alternative menu in edit mode. the run button becomes an edit for that item number.
I'm on the most Recent QAP Beta, running Portably from my X:\ Drive. On win 10, have win 11 too. think it happens there as well.
hope this is helpful for you tracking down bugs
Thanks.
