Theme Bug – "ERROR (Dark mode support)" in v11.6.5.2

Hi Jean / team,
Big fan of QAP here — I use it daily and love how powerful it is.
I’m running into a persistent bug in version 11.6.5.2:
Whenever I go to Options > General > Theme, the dropdown simply says:
ERROR (Dark mode support)
…and no themes load — not even the built-in ones like Grey or Yellow. Even though my INI file is correctly formatted and references a theme, the UI doesn’t reflect any of it.
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
• Set DarkMode=0 in the INI
• Tried built-in themes ([Gui-Grey], [Gui-Yellow]) → same result
• Created my own theme ([Pasha Theme], see below)
• Restarted QAP fully each time (tray icon → Exit)
• Toggled Windows between Light and Dark modes
• Confirmed Windows contrast themes are OFF
• Fully uninstalled and deleted %APPDATA%\Quick Access Popup, then reinstalled
• Removed invalid keys (e.g. MenuTextColor)
• Verified that the Theme= key in the [Global] section is properly set
The dropdown still shows "ERROR", and themes appear to be ignored altogether — even though the config is clean.
Here’s my theme block:
[Pasha Theme]
WindowColor=1E1E1E
TextColor=F0F0F0
ListviewBackground=2B2B2B
ListviewText=F0F0F0
MenuBackgroundColor=E0E0E0
Even if I ignore the "ERROR" and force the theme through the INI, the text becomes black on a black background, making it unreadable.
Only when I hover or highlight does the text become visible in grey (see screenshot).
Any idea what might be causing this?
Is the theme dropdown dependent on anything else in Windows or QAP that could be interfering?
I’d love to get this working and use my custom Pasha Theme.
Thanks so much for your help — and for such an excellent app!
Best,
Pasha
