I'm writing to inform you about an upcoming change concerning the
code signing certificate for both
Quick Access Popup (QAP) and my new application,
Quick Clipboard Editor (QCE). The current certificate is set to expire in
September 2025.
2025-06-16 UPDATE: My certificate provider has made me a reasonable offer to renew my certificate at a price closer to what I paid three years ago. I'll have to pay $625.00 but I'm confident I can raise enough donations from QAP users to make up that amount. You can help me pay this expense here:

After careful consideration, I've made the difficult decision not to renew it. This was not an easy choice, but the cost of renewal has become prohibitively expensive. The price has escalated significantly, becoming more than three times more expensive than it was just three years ago. As a result, maintaining this certificate is no longer sustainable for free software projects like QAP and QCE.
What does this mean for you?
