Somehow, my previously saved commands seemed to have vanished after installing this latest version.

Any way to get them back? i do make regular backups, but it's been a few days since I installed this version.

Saved commands are saved in the database file QCE-DB4.db. Upgrading does not delete or replace the database file. Did your history also disappear?

Check for this file in the "Options, Open Settings folder" or in your backup.

Yes. History also disappeared. The earliest entries displaying are from the day I installed 3.0.9.9 beta. Checking the database file for the user in question, it's size is 81.5MB. The size of the file for the more recently installed user is about 16MB. I'd imagine, based on the size, that there's more history there, just not visible in the app.

I don't know what to say. As I said, upgrading does not delete or replace the database file. QCE is only deleting old history entries when the database size exceed the max set in "Options, Database".

Do you have a backup of QCE-DB4.db before the upgrade?

Did you install QCE with the Setup program or with the portable ZIP file?
