  I want to make it all one line and just delete the new lines so it reads:  Still no CHQ Transit Hub after nearly $500,000 spent
  
  I tried:
  
  

  1. Press Ctrl-H
     
  2. click on new line
     
  3. check Regular Expression
     
  4. Click Execute
     

  
  Get a popup saying not found.
  
  Also tried each of the following in the Find:

  • \r
    
  • \n
    
  • \x0D
    

  
  No matter what I've tried, it doesn't find.
  
  Also, the Replace All box is not clickable.

  About your "Find and replace" command, why did you click "Regular expression"?

  Search always starts form the cursor location. Make sure you set it at the beginning of the text.
  
  > Also, the Replace All box is not clickable.
  
  When Regular expression is checked, the "Replace All" is disabled because all RegEx command are always replace all.

  I did find the reformat paragraph option and used it. As for why I clicked regular expression, I thought that when you explicitly specified Hex or ASCII codes that it was needed.

  `n and `t work in normal searches.
  
  When in RegEx mode, here what the AHK* docs says: "The most common ones are \t (tab), \r (carriage return), and \n (linefeed). In AutoHotkey, an accent (`) may optionally be used in place of the backslash in these cases. Escape sequences in the form \xhh are also supported, in which hh is the hex code of any ANSI character between 00 and FF."
