  Why on earth do we have to redo every single setting from scratch with every new update?
  Is it really that hard to retain our preferences?
  Your updates are supposed to improve the experience — not make us waste time fixing what was already working. This has happened too many times, and it's frustrating, inefficient, and quite frankly, unnecessary.
  Please do better.

  First of all, I just want to say—I love you and your software!
  I swear I follow the Easy Setup tool exactly every time, but unfortunately, it always reverts to the default settings, and I end up having to re-import all my settings again.
  
  Thanks for the amazing work—your software truly saves us hours every week from digging through endless folders and files!

  If you were using the portable ZIP file I would have some suggestions for you. But if you installed and updated QAP using the Setup exe file (with the default location), I have no idea why your settings would be deleted.
