  Would it simplify things if selecting a Pinned Clip pasted it directly into the current website’s Text Field instead of first placing it into the QCE Editor?
  
  Right now, if you:
  

  1. Left-click the Pinned Clip icon in the Editor
     
  2. Select a clip
     

  
  the chosen clip appears at the caret position in the QCE Editor. Then you must click paste again to move it into the website’s Text Field.
  
  I think many users would prefer that clicking the clip once would paste it immediately into the website’s Text Field. If users still wanted the current behavior, they could right-click the Pinned Clip icon and select a clip, which loads it directly (but doesn't append it) into the Editor.
  
  Additionally, it might be even better to let users paste Pinned Clips directly into the Text Field by changing the the hotkeys (Alt + number) without having to open the QCE Editor at all.
  
  I may be in the minority, and perhaps most prefer things as they are now. Either way, I appreciate you considering this suggestion.

  I agree. The "Pinned clips" will evolve in the next releases. Setting a hotkey with a "scope" option is in the roadmap. By scope I mean "local to QCE" or "global to all application". It could also include inclusion/exclusion lists to avoid conflicts with other application's hotkeys but this will have to be analysed and implemented in futere release.

  Thank ChatGPT... I tried but couldn't write this without it being way too long and confusing. It took my attempt, shortened it, and made it much easier to understand.

  About this feature request, I'm working on a solution that involves QAP. I think it will open a lot of possibilities. More to come.
