  Hi,
  
  When the MediaCoder application (https://www.mediacoderhq.com/) is running and its window is in the foreground, all QAP items that open a folder open MediaCoder's "Add Track" window instead of a new Windows Explorer tab, which is in the background. It looks like MediaCoder gets a Ctrl-T (to open a new tab) instead of Windows Explorer.
  
  Did I miss something in the settings or is there anything I can do to prevent this?

  Welcome to the QAP forum.
  
  Normally, QAP activates the Explorer window before sending the Ctrl+T. And QAP waits up to 1 second for the Explorer window to become active before sending the hotkey. Is this happening with other application than MediaCoder?

  In fact, if MediaCoder is running, its window is not minimized (= not in the taskbar), and if it's above the Explorer window, it always gets Ctrl+T. It doesn't matter if there are other windows above it. Once the Explorer window is above the MediaCoder window, it works perfectly. QAP activation of the explorer window doesn't seem to work properly if MediaCoder is above it. Very strange...
  
  I haven't faced this problem with other applications so far.

  I should download MediaCoder and test it. Is it a Windows App (UWP)?

  Hi Laurent. Sorry for the delay. I finally tested MediaCoder on a PC with Win 11.
  
  I had no issue with QAP v11.6.4.2.1 and Mediacoder v0.8.65. This looks like a standard app except that 1) it does not appear on the regular task bar (you have to re open the window from the system tray) and 2) it does not appear in the list of apps when you use the Switch app hotkey Atl+Tab.
  
  But these differences don't impact how QAP interacts with Windows Explorer (tested with Win 11 Professional version 24H2). The Ctrl+T hotkey sent from QAP to Explorer to open a new tab is correctly received by Explorer regardless of the MediaCoder window state (foreground, background or minimized).
  
  Anyone else having experience with this app?

  This is very strange. I tried again today and got the same result. If MediaCoder is in the foreground, the “Add Track” dialog box (shortcut Ctrl-T) opens instead of a new tab for Windows Explorer. And if it matters (I guess it doesn't), I open QAP with a middle click. Go figure... ;-)
