"File Pilot" File manager in QAPConnect ?

  I know I can edit the QAPconnect.ini to connect to File Pilot, but I don't know the needed arguments.

  The tools' website doesn't contain any info for File Pilot command line switches.
  You have to ask the developer or look into its help if available.

  "If you're only asking about cmd line arguments, the only (optional) argument FP currently accepts is the file path to open."
  "No syntax, you just pass the file path to the exe.
  FPilot.exe C:\Downloads
  Or
  FPilot.exe C:/Downloads"
  
  Is this enough info you need to create the CommandLine=XXX ?

  Selected the Application in the drop down, restart QAP... doesn't seem to work...

  It opens File Pilot but it does not link the path. Last folder is opened instead

  First, let's make it work in a CMD window. Open CMD and at the prompt, try entering:
  
  C:\> path_of_the_app.exe c:\any_folder
  
  Is this opening FP with the folder selected?

  AppPath=path_of_the_app.exe
  CommandLine=%Path%
  
  Save the QAPconnect.ini file. In QAP, click the Refresh applications list to reflect your changes in QAPconnect.ini. You can now select your newly added file manager.

  You can Add that to the general .ini 
  Of course you have to replace the path to the FPilot.exe
  
  ANd If you have time, you should definitively check out the File Pilot ... It's so fast ! 
  
  Opening a new tab is not supported yet, but it's planned !
