I tried to reproduce this but was unable. Is is doing it with any favorite folder (regular folder and special folder like Download)? If you create on your desktop a file shortcut for a folder or a special folder, do you see the same behavior in DOpus?
I raised the size limit for GIFs to 2 MBs.

I ask this because in your GIF, we see that QAP is opening the requested folder. Then, as far as I can see, DOpus (not QAP) is changing to a new folder. I check in the code and QAP does nothing after changing the to the requested folder. I'm trying to see if this behaviour could occur without involving QAP.

I'm also using DOpus v12.17 x64. And QAP v10.1.
If you say that you've tried the file shortcut suggestions with the same result, it means to me that QAP is not involved in this issue, not that I want to discharge myself but just that we have to search the correct cause. If this is the case, you could describe this scenario on DOpus forum without mentioning QAP. In the past, DOpus developer have been very helpful. They can certainly help you better than me. But send me the link to your post if you do it. I'll follow it.

I meant create a "Windows File Shortcut". Please do this (all the following without using QAP):
- on your Desktop, right-click and select "New", "Shortcut".
- Location: C:\ (or any other folder)
- give a name to your shortcut
- double-click on this shortcut on your Desktop.
Is DOpus doing the undesired redirection as when you open a folder with QAP? If it opens the folder normally, this would confirm that there is an issue with QAP<->DOpus. If not, there is another issue to look for, not involving QAP.
