  Hello there, 
  This is causing a 2 sec delay in popping up my menu. I read in the help that it is refreshed each time the menu is loaded whether it's called or not. Is there any way to load the contents on execution ? 
  
  Menu pops up instantly when I remove it.
  
  Another related question, is it possible to have something like this assigned to a hotkey but doesn't show in the main menu? It looks to me now that you need to include everything in the main menu to assign a hotkey etc.

  I'm not sure I understand your question. Do you mean loading the dynamic menus at launch and not refresh them when the menu is open?

  The QAP menu is built hierarchically and everything needs to be under the main menu (even if it is hidden).

  Hello, thank you, and congratulations on tremendous software.
  
  By 'load contents on execution' I mean to only load the contents of the 'Reopen a folder' menu on selection of that menu. The 'Reopen a Folder' (List of Explorer and Opus locations) also doesn't seem to be affected by this setting being on or off.
  
  [x]Attach all dynamic menus to QAP main menu
  
  I really need this in the menu, so it would be great if it was affected by the setting above.

  The 'Reopen a folder' menu contains the folders currently open in Windows Explorer (and Directory Opus/Total Commander) and is refreshed instantly when opening the main menu. It would not make the main menu quicker if it was detached.
  
  What you can do to have this menu stand-alone is to assign it a keyboard or mouse shortcut. Edit the 'Reopen a folder' item in the Customize window and in the "Menu Options", select a "Shortcut".

  I can confirm the menu is instant without 'Reopen a Folder' in the menu system and if I include it, it takes about 2 seconds each time to open. I know it's a tiny thing but in terms of efficiency, I have turned it off for now as I find the delay gets in the way of workflow (Which I am happy with, as I can still hotkey the 'Reopen current folder in a dialog box') I went through every item to check what was causing the delay and have whittled it down to this item. I am not updating Opus any time soon, so I am content with my current workflow. Just mentioning it.

  This is probably related to Directory Opus. Try setting your File manager to Windows Explorer just to test if the delay is reduced.
  
  To list the folders open in DOpus listers, QAP asks DO to create a text file containing the open folders:
  
  "C:\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\dopusrt.exe" /info "%TEMP%\_QAP_temp_nnn\dopus-listers-list.txt",paths
  (the text file is created in the QAP Temporary folder set in Options, General)
  
  This normally takes milliseconds to execute. Not 1-2 seconds. Would there be an explanation why DOpus would be slow to produce this file?
  
  Making this dynamic menu detached is not an easy task. I'd prefer if we could solve this problem differently.
