> just on *one* of the Win10 PCs I've been experiencing a very slow (5+ seconds) delay when left-clicking to bring up the main QAP list of launcher items.
The time needed to refresh the QAP menu depends on the content to be added to the dynamic menus (above all, the number of
new items in the "Recent Items" system folder since the last QAP menu call) and the time it takes to Windows to respond to QAP requests. For some reason, it seems to be slower on one of your machine.
The time needed to refresh the QAP menu is not consistent. It depend on the content of the "Recent Items" to be added since the last QAP menu call. Also, sometimes it seems that Windows has some background tasks needed to be performed before responding to QAP, making the delay a bit longer.
You could try the "detached" dynamic menus option. It should make a difference in the time it takes to show the main menu:

When the menu is detached, QAP takes less time to show the main menu because the dynamic menus do not have to refreshed with the main menu. They are refreshed only when you open them. But, personally, I find it more convenient to have these menus attached and prefer to wait a short time (normally 1-2 more seconds).
