  I don't want QAP to show me recent explorer window folders.  Generally these are open already.  I want it to just show me the folders that have been explored in a dialogue box.  Listary used to do this, and it did it incredibly well - to the point where I could 100% rely on the top folder in the recent folders list being the one I had just saved into.  I find with QAP if I go looking for a file it the last saved folder gets completely knocked off the recent folders list and I have to manually navigate to it (quel horreur!)
  
  Having said all that, I've just bought a macbook and finder is absolutely bloody hopeless! 
  
  Is there are way to do this in QAP?

  QAP populates the Recent folders by reading the "Recent items" Windows system folder. With the info available in this folder, I don't see how QAP could select only items open using a dialog box. If you have info on how Listary does, please let me know.

  aha! I see. Listary also handled the "quick switch" from an explorer window to a dialogue box natively, so my guess would be they are logging the path that has been switched to.
