When I am in a Save As dialog, I can manually activate QAP and use it to open the folder I want to change to.
But when I use my AHK script in the Save As box and pop up Quick Access Popup ( Run '"C:\Program Files\Quick Access Popup\QAPmessenger.exe" ShowMenuLaunch' )
and select a folder, the folder opens instead of being changed to.
How can get this to happen programmatically?

Try replace ShowMenuLaunch with ShowMenuNavigate.
