  hi,
  
  previously I visited here and say i also made a GUI using ahk, and it use filter to handle 1000+ list.
  however i found it quite low yield, it did work but polishing it e.g. making a config saving mechanism is time consuming.
  
  so i turn back to QAP agian.
  and this time i give it more try.
  
  QAP certainly is much more polished e.g. it can suggest recent used files/folders.
  
  however, it looks to me that QAP is currently using tress of menus to handle that 1000+ list.
  i.e. QAP can handle 1000+ by puting 10 item in the menu, then 10 item in level 2 menu, then 10 iterm in level 3 menu.
  
  yeah one can click/hover 3 times to get to the desired item but it's time wasting and break the concentration.
  
  my item which use "filter"+dropdown box, one can choose / select the snipplets by keywords, 
  e.g. photoshop-push, pdf-save 
  or, myself will add a tag like fav001 to them:
  photoshop-push-fav001
  pdf-save-fav001
  
  in this way, by selecting fav001, my top 10 menu will include the things i want, out of that 1000+ iterms.

  however:
  1. quick launch only give AND, better with OR too. (NOT will be too much)
  btw, i found quick launch could also sort out text in the MIDDLE, e.g. if you type "no", the "annotation" is also sort-ed out,
  but in your youtube, it claim to be the 1st part only which is incorrect, and may prevent some people to use because it's less useful if only the 1st parts are considered. upgraded?
  
  2. would be nice if quick launch could have default setting say always by default filter "fav001" "fav002" (user editable of course) so i always have my most handy tools on hand when i start quick launch, would be good if these user pre-defined keywords are in a drop down list, saved in the configure file.

  3. i use multi mon, currently i will click on the chrome on the 3rd mon, then use mouse-popup to raise the QAP, and choose the snippet. yes this worked. however if somehow the name of the target window could somehow be provided, would be extra.

  my script allow "CtrlSend" which let one specify an WinID where the commands will be send to, however would be overkill for general populations'use.
  
  I missed these last time,
  QAP do work great.
  
  however the 1 and 2 features may help further.

  my keyboard hotkey ^+! F21 can popup and dismiss the QAP
  
  however, mouse hotkey shift + middle button, can popup but cant dismiss the QAP.

  my script is like this,
  so that when start up, it already contains a default filter, this time it's ahk
  
  so when i press the popup hotkey, those ahk-* are ready to be clicked.
  
  i wish qap could enhance that quick launch filter, by adding such.

  hi, looks like it can take 0.5 year or above to have these implemented?
  
  at the moment, anything i could do? i could use gpt4 to help me modify/create any ahk script.
  
  the OR/AND is less important, but the default filter for quick launch will be very useful for me.
  
  is there anyway i can hardcode it into QAP currently?

  use my own script for those handy tools aka fav001s.

  ok,
  looks like i can further make a shortcut to a shortcut,
  so when fire up quick launch, it paste my default keyword every time.
