  How do I change the [i]Shift + F[/i] Ctrl + Shift + F shortcut? Because of it I cannot use the Search feature in Thunderbird. This says nothing about this particular shortcut: https://www.quickaccesspopup.com/categor...ding_menu/
  
  And yes: I need to change it [or disable just it and for good] and disable temporarily all hotkeys using the context menu of the Tray icon

  Not sure what shortcut you mean? You posted this message in the Quick Clipboard Editor (QCE) section of the forum. Are you using Quick Clipboard Editor or Quick Access Popup (QAP)?

  Yes the option "Suspend Hotkeys" is available in the Tray menu for bots QCE and QAP.

  You can manage all shortcuts in the "Tools, Manage hotkeys" dialog box.

  @Popleft: Thunderbird (and many other programs) uses CTRL+F (not SHIFT+F) as hotkey for the text search function

  Actually in Thunderbird it is Ctrl + Shift + F
