  I have set Popup Hotkeys/Quick Accesss Popup Mouse button to: CTRL+Special Mouse 1
  
  The following annoyance can be reproduced 100% when I use this hotkey as follows:
  
  Press "CTRL and the Mouse button 1" AND thereby move the mouse e.g. left+right thus "shake it" fast while pressing the hotkey combination.
  
  Annoying symptom: Normally, after activating when clicking somewhere outside the QAP menu --> the menu disappears again. However, when doing this "shaky" hotkey press --> the menu can only be closed when clicking one of the menu items!
  
  This happens quite often, when I'm in a hurry - leading to me already moving the mouse while still pressing the hotkey combination. And then I sometimes realize I was too fast and need to do something else before using the QAP menu -> but then the menu does not go away. This really feels like a bug. Normally the QAP menu should always disappear when clicking outside the menu, right? With the above "shaky mouse" method this is somehow blocked... Any idea why?

  Hmm, ok sounds like you already tried to fix this. Suggestion from my side: I also have a few (simple) AHK scripts displaying a GUI and with the following code I can reliably detect if the user clicks outside the GUI causing it to close. I never had an issue with this, it always closes the GUI (in your case the menu) and terminates the script. Just something to think about, it surely does not fit 1:1 to your QAP code but for me this is proof, that "it's possible" and it's a bug and not only an issue ;-)

  Thanks for the tip. But GUIs and menus are two different things. After a menu is created and displayed by QAP, its closing is done by Windows (or not...).
