  Hello sir Jean!
  I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the application icon of QCE has a light background and it is very conspicuous on a system with a dark theme:
  
  The icon in the application header also has a light background:
  
  The taskbar icon is displayed without this light background and looks neater:
  
  In the browser, the application icon is also displayed without a light background:
  
  
  If it possible, please make the display of the application icon in the system tray the same as on the taskbar.

  There is no transparency issue here.
  
  Did you install QCE with the portable install ZIP file? If yes, make sure you update in your working folder with the file JLicons.dll v1.6.6 dated 2023-05-28 found in the latest ZIP file.

  I installed on top of the previous version 1.1.
  Now I have re-installed version 1.1.1 and the background of the application icon in the tray is transparent. Very strange.
  Anyway thank you for your efforts!

  I now understand why this happened. QAP and QCE share the same icons file (JLicons.dll). If you install QAP after QCE, the new icons file installed by QCE is replaced with the older one by the QAP installer. This is why the QCE icon without transparency reappears. This will be fixes in the next QAP release.
  
  In the mean time, the workaround is to re-install QCE after you install QAP. That way the new icons will be used.
