1) A new command named "Remove characters" (or similar) asking for the characters to remove. Characters remembered as default value during the current session.
2) Remember the last selection for next QCE session
3) Select a selection from a list of past usages of this command.
If you are considering adding the "remove selected characters" option, it would be handy if could implement an option/checkmark to specifically remove leading/trailing spaces (and nothing else)
I often find myself copy-and-pasting a list of values into a script which potentially breaks if there are (especially trailing) spaces.
