With the latest update I am unable to utilize the Live Folder shortcut within a "Save As" box.
For a very long time I have been able to utilize the "Live Folder" option to move with ease between client folders in a "Save As" box with a program called Sound Forge.
I would record my voice over for client "XXXX". Then, my mouse short cut would trigger the "Save As" menu option... If the last Save location was for client "YYYY" I could trigger the Live Folder option with another mouse short cut, which would pull up the Favorite folder list and sub folders. I could choose "Client XXXX / subfolder - Projects"
With the latest update, I have to turn off the Live Folder options. When I hit my shortcut trigger, it changes to the top level of my Favorites in Save As system, but requires further selections to get to the Project Folder.
The attached image "Live Folder On" is what the menu system USED to look like.
The attached image "No Live Folder" is what I must use now after the update.
I am unsure what has changed in the latest update, I have never run into this issue.
Sound Forge software has remained unchanged or updated for over a year.

Welcome to the QAP forum.
I cannot reproduce the issue on my system and no other user reported the issue.

This is not mentioned in your post why do you "have to" turn off the Live Folder option?
What happen when you try to change folder with option on?
At first sight, I would suspect 2 things: Sound Forge would now "run as" administrator or some change in the latest Sound Forge release. -

Hi there Jean!
First, I love this program. Its a tool I can't live without after having discovered it.
OK, I have to turn off the live folder option because it will not work from the shortcut/hotkey anymore within the Sound Forge Save As box. When I turn it off (live folder) - the short cut key works, but without the live folder option.
There has been so change in Sound Forge on my studio recording system for over a year. It's been unchanged.
I have read through the documentation and tried a few other things to see if I could get it back working... but it seems that the latest update has quashed that previous ability on my system.

You may close this thread. After adding the "run as administrator" check box on the EXE program of sound forge, this issue is resolved.
I am unsure why I need to make that change, I have never had to before, but your suggestion/comment saved the day!

I'm not sure either why you had to make this change. But what I can say (and not because I think QAP is perfect) is that this must be explained by some change on your system, not in QAP.
