Suddenly this morning QAP didn’t work when I pressed my usual shortcut.

I restarted my computer. Didn’t help.

Then I downloaded and installed the most recent QAP version but that didn’t work either.

I managed to open the Customize window from the tray but then the program froze.

Then, after about 15 minutes of struggle, it started working.

Nothing has changed on my computer since yesterday, so I don’t know why this is happening. This has never happened before. I've used QAP for over a year without issues.

I’m on Windows 10, QAP version 11.5.9.

Thanks for reporting this.

The QAP website was having issues this morning. It is now back to normal. This is not supposed to do it but maybe QAP was blocked when sending a request to the QAP server to check for a new version. I never experienced it myself and normally, this request should not block QAP. But this is the only explanation I can see in the context of this outage this morning.
