  Hello Jean,
  QAP knows the active folders of a running TC.
  It uses it for the functions Reopen a folder or Current folders
  but doesn't support to add the current TC folder
  in the function Add active folder or web page.

  It works if I invoke it form the QAP popup started with some external tool
  but not if I try it from the QAP tray icon .

  It also works for me from the QAP menu open from the Tray icon. Make sure TC was the last active window before you open the Tray menu.

  It doesn't work for me.
  TC is definitely the active window before I click on the Tray icon.
  This is the message I get.

  Sorry, we can't detect the current folder in this type of window.
  Do you want to add a favorite folder manually now?
  
  Also no assigned hotkey works.

  I upgraded to TC 10.52RC4 x64 and tested with QAP in portable mode and it still works for me. Sorry but I could not explain this.
  
  You could test if it works in a new separate portable installation of QAP if it works with the default settings.

  I tested with a fresh portable installation which gives me a new problem or missing configuration.
  The QAP feature "Add active Folder or Web page Express" works
  from the tray icon and with the default hotkey
  but it ignores the "Express" and shows the dialog for configuring the new favorite.
  
  Conclusion, an ini file entry of my normal portable installation makes a problem ?

  Yes. Probably one under the [Global] section. In the "Options" dialog box, compare your settings with those in the default config.

  This is a bug. It works if you select it when the menu is open with MButton or Win+W but not if you select it from the Tray menu. Same issue with Explorer and Directory Opus. This is not an issue specific to TC. Noted in my todos.

  I gave up to find the reason by comparing the Global sections of a fresh installation and my one.
  I can't understand why it works if the QAP popup is invoked from an external tool like my Logitech software
  and doesn't work and gives an error message if the popup is started from the QAP tray menu.
  Even more strange is that no hotkey assigments work for this function.
  There is no error message and no action in this case.
  The same hotkeys are working fine with any other QAP function.

  Yes. I don't remember how I missed the point here and how I finally found out later. But it is now fixed :-)
