Pretty much what the subject says.
It would be very nice if CAPS LOCK was one of the choices for shortcuts under "Menu Options --> Shortcut".
Like Shift, Ctrl, Alt and Win.
The Caps Lock key brings me nothing but grief, so I have assigned it as a selector for shortcuts in a primitive AHK script where I put stuff that QAP does not, or should not support.
(I've named that script "QAPhelper"
)
QAPhelper hums along with QAP and QCE, no problem, but managing all shortcuts in QAP itself would be convenient.

Jean: I won't delete this feature request, but using caps lock is kind of a hit (the defined shortcuts) or miss (any other key combo) show.
Did some reading on the forums, and couldn't find a solution to disable caps lock except for the defined shortcuts.
Maybe you or someone else with who knows A LOT more about AHK than I do, can fix this, I can't.
But, using that completely useless key would be.... useful...

(I've been reading a LOT of forum pages lately, and searching some GitHub repos for examples).
The problem is not as such assigning caps lock and letter, f.ex I use "capslock+h" to bring up a help window in a tiny little script that I have.
The problem that I have is to disable caps lock, except for the one (or several) hotkey comboes assigned with it.
F.ex. if the only hotkey assigned with caps lock is "capslock+h", pushing "capslock+AnyOtherKey" should not activate caps lock.
(If that made any sense...?)

OK, I see. So adding support for Caps lock as a modifier should not be an issue by itself. I never explored this before and I don't remember it was asked by users before. Any support for this feature?
This being said, you can already use the recent "manual input" option in the "Change shortcut " dialog box and enter something like Capslock & m for "Caps lock + M". -

Well, now I have egg on my face, I've COMPLETELY missed that option.

Not necessarily. Caps lock could be added as a modifier un the list of checkboxes in the "Change shortcut" dialog box. This would make it easier to select. But I will first do some research about the reliability of this modifier.
