QAP already can show the entries from the Total Commander directcory menu.
I would like a search function which only displays entries matching that search text.
I guess its not possible to do that directly in the list
but there can be a QAP feature which allows to enter some search text
and after this it displays the reduced hotlist.

Thanks Horst for the suggestion. This feature could be applied to any dynamic menu.

This was an interesting suggestion. However, after a good bunch of hours of investigation and testing, I realized that this would require specific and sometimes complex coding for each source of data (TC Directory hotlist, Recent folders, and other dynamic menus). Only for the TC menu, considering the hierarchical structure of the menu is a challenge by itself. This would not impossible to implement but too complex, too risky, and too much work for my current availability.
