Two additions to test in this beta release.
1) The first change was not requested by users but I think you will appreciate anyway. In previous versions of QAP, a link was always open in a new tab of the browser, even if you opened the QAP menu and selected the link to open
over a browser window. This behavior changes in this release and the link will now be open
in the same tab. In other words,
QAP will "navigate" to the selected link. If you prefer to keep the previous behavior, select the option
Always open Links in new tab or window in
Options, Various Advanced Options.
2) Many users asked if it was possible to keep the QAP menu open in order to select multiple items before closing it (for example, to paste multiple snippets in a text box). Unfortunately, Windows does not allow to do exactly this. But the new option
Reopen this menu after launching items added to the
Basic Settings of menu favorites will
reopen the menu immediately after an item is selected, allowing to
select another item from the same menu. The only limitation with this feature is that you can't click anywhere else between two selections. As soon as you click outside the menu, it is closed. But this should help select multiple items when you need it.
On a side note, have you seen the new campaign to
help me renew the certificate ensuring safe download and installation of QAP?
