  Why doesn't QAP import shortcut icons during a multi-import?
  
  I see that although I choose Application type, the shortcuts are still imported as Document, with the icon of a document. Why is that?

  I confirm this is a bug.
  
  As an alternative, you can import file shortcuts one a t time by right-clicking them in Windows Explorer and select "Import Shotcut to Quick Access Popup".

  I did some work to convert file shortcuts to the actual target (folder, document or application) when you add multiple items from a folder. But, as it is now, this feature is not designed to support all settings (icon, start in, run state). This will require more work.
  
  But before going further, , please help me understand your workflow here. Is your source of multiple add is "Folder"? To import file shortcuts, my understanding is that it must be it. But when you say "I choose Application type", what do you mean? I don't see such selection in this dialog box. Is is just an error?

  As for my workflow, I was used to collecting shortcuts in a folder. For example, in the Quick Launch folder, after which I installed this folder as an extra toolbar on the taskbar. Likewise with other folders in which I group shortcuts to start my software.
  
  Now with Windows 11 I can no longer add my own toolbars and I was looking for an alternative / better solutions to show my shortcuts in the lower right corner of the taskbar for quick access to my programs.
  
  In Quick Access Popup it seems that I have found a (very extensive) better solution. With 'Add Multiple Favorits' I thought there was a nice function to be able to import and switch my groups with shortcuts. That appears to work fine, but as I said the icons are not imported. 
  
  Because of this I have to import all the shortcuts one by one, or manually adjust the icons on all the imported shortcuts. That is quite a lot of work, hence my question if this can be adjusted, because I'm a very visually minded guy.

  Thanks for the explanation. I understand your workflow. And I learn that custom toolbars are not available in Win 11! One more reason to stay with Win 10 at this time...
  
  Your screen captures show me that there is something not clear in the "Add Favorite" dialog box with the "Add Multiple Favorites" button. This button is not related to the type of favorites that you select in the upper section of the dialog box. I just put it there as a shortcut to the "Edit, Add Multiple Favorites" menu command. I will change the presentation of this button - maybe making it a text link in order to avoid the confusion with the options above.
  
  The new version of QAP that I'll soon release will support adding multiple favorites from .lnk files in a folder (as you did) but icons and other file shortcut properties will not be supported at this time. As I said, this will require more work and will be added to the wish list for a future release.
