I'm not sure what you are asking?
You say that you want QAP to execute a function in your main ahk script, and then you say that you don't want a separate script.
QAP is basically a launcher, the mother of all launchers, that is true, but a launcher nonetheless.
To break it down:
1. Can you use QAP to trigger an ahk script, or parts of it?
Yes, QAP has extensive support for variables, command lines, shortcuts etc.
Triggering a part of an ahk script is dependent on the script, does it take input variables?
If yes, then QAP can be used to send those.
2. Can you run native ahk code directly in QAP
No, if you want to move/port a script or parts of it to run natively in QAP, this is not possible and not the purpose of QAP.
But, if you want, post some more details about your problem.
There are some people around here who knows QAP very well, and they may give you some input on how to solve a problem.

If you look at QAP as a launcher, and want to trigger a script function (as in a file, or a running script), I would guess that you'll get your answer here.
Jean, the creator of QAP (an ahk application), and a couple of other cats in this forum are ahk black belts.
Just give it some time, and I'm sure they'll answer.
