Using the NirSoft tool NirCmd you can assign text to the Clipboard.
Nircmd.exe clipboard set "123456"
So its possible to create a batch file which asks for the text and invokes NirCmd.
This batch file can be started by a QAP favorite.

Yes, there is a way. Open the QAP Alternative menu (by default, Shift + Middle Mouse Button) and select "Copy a Favorite path or URL". Then in the QAP menu, select your snippet.

I agree it is not obvious. But since the Snippet text is stored in the same field as folder, document or applications location fields, it works. Maybe this Alternative menu feature could be renamed : "Copy a Favorite path, URL or snippet to Clipboard". At least, I added a mention of snippets in the FAQ page.

You could use Powershell and the Set-Clipboard cmdlet.
The cmdlet and your text would be part of the Parameters field in QAP.
You could also use the {Input} function in parameters to send text you type to the clipboard.
