  Hi, is it possible to hide some menu/submenu entries based on the current window or app when qap is activated by the hotkey? or to show a submenu only when a specific app is active?

  No. Changing the menu requires to rebuild the whole menu and this would take to much time to adapt it depending on the active app/window.
