A day or two ago I downloaded the latest version.
With the previous version, when I opened QAP with my hot key, I could type a letter, e.g. “P”, and be taken to the first entry in the list starting with “P.”
With the latest version (11.3, 64 bits, installed w/Setup, using Windows 10 Home Version 2004), this is no longer working.
Also (and I see this is an ongoing issue), I can no longer consistently close QAP with Esc, or even by clicking outside of it. I’ve enabled the Close command, but this issue didn’t happen with the previous version.
I LOVE QAP so far, and just purchased the lifetime license, but these issues make me nervous about downloading new versions. So…how can I return to the previous version?

Nothing changed in the latest version that should affect these issues. Let me know if they are present or not in the previous release.

I'll chime in on this one, it may be connected to or seems similar to my issue.
When the "main" QAP window looses the keyboard, ESC don't work.
And, typing the first letter for an item don't work.
I have not enabled the Close command, but I do have a text item on the main window/menu and I click on that one to make QAP go away/cancel.
Currently on v.11.2 on all my machines (portable version, Windows 10 20H2), but the issue with the keyboard was also present on older versions.
@darkstream55: Are you able to navigate the menu with the arrow keys even if ESC don't work?
Here is a tip you can try if you want:
Create a submenu, either a local or shared one, assign a hotkey-combo to it (I use CTRL-Win-X).
When you have the "ESC-problem", bring up that submenu directly with the hotkey-combo and check of ESC/typing a letter works.
(It does on my machines).
