  In this new beta phase, I made nice improvements to the "Select Icon" dialog box. Especially, an obsolete limitation was removed and icon can now be set with image files of formats *.png, *.bmp, *.gif and *.jpg as long as they are square and not larger than 64 x 64 pixels.
  
  Also, starting with v11.2.9.7, you can customize the menu icons size for each submenu.
  
  Version BETA: 11.2.9.4 (2021-04-09)
  - improve the "Select Icon" dialog box when selecting an icon for a favorite
  - support for image files (*.png; *.bmp; *.gif; *.jpg) in addition to previously supported icon files (*.dll; *.exe; *.ico; *.ocx; *.cpl)
  - move links to select banks of icons in dll files (JLicons.dll, Shell32.dll and ImageRes.dll) from "Edit Favorite" to "Select Icon" dialog box
  - when selecting an image or an icon file containing only one icon, immediately select it, otherwise, if the file contains multiple icons, display the icons in a grid allowing the user to click the icon to select for the favorite

  In this new release, the "Select Icon" dialog has been reviewed to allow keyboard selection. In previous releases, the mouse was required to select an icon which went against good usability practices.

  What type of screen do you have on this PC? Could it be ab HDPI-device (like Surface Book)?
  
  If yes, you could try to "Override high DPI scaling behavior" for QAP by following the instructions in this FAQ page:

  I tried this setting and while it did correct the icon overlap problem in the QAP startup tip display, the fix negatively affected other things like the folder list in Outlook so I reverted the setting.
  
  I am seeing this on a 27" 4K monitor (very nice to look at).

  The instructions I was referring to should only affect Quick Access Popup, not other apps. But I see that the page linked in my post changed. Here is another page about this option.
  
  
  
  Maybe you should select "Application" instead of "System".
  
  Right-click the Quick Access Popup executable icon in Windows Explorer (you will probably find it under "C:\Program Files\Quick Access Popup"), select "Properties", then "Compatibility", check "Override high DPI scaling behavior" and select "Application" (instead of "System") from the dropdown list.
  
  I cannot test it myself. Please let me know if it fixes the issue in QAP without impacting other apps.

  I tried out the 'Get title and icon' feature and on the link in the attached screenshot. QAP hangs with an hour glass with the title bar saying (Not Responding) so perhaps a timeout needs to be added.

  I was able to reproduce this issue with this site (https://dhl.com). The command I'm using to retrieve the icon file does support time out. There is another command I can try. I'll test it.

  I upgraded to version 11.2.9.7 beta and tried 'Get title and icon' for that DHL link and it still takes about 35 seconds to respond / timeout.
  
  It's probably something you have no control over but maybe something can be added to the Tooltip like 'Waiting for response from website' or...

Please try getting the icon using the "Get website icon" in the "Menu Options" tab. If it works well, it means I will have to implement the time out command for the page title also.

  The 'Get website icon' command responds immediately with my DHL.com link so to me, that points a need for a timeout on the page title.

  I checked/resaved the mailer settings in the forum configuration on Apr 29th and it seems that it fixed the issue. There has been no error since.

  Have you tried to select "Application" instead of "System" for the "Override high DPI scaling behavior" option?
