  I have a strange problem with defined by me variables. I am using the Portable version of QAP and I have all the additional programs or scripts I need in the QAP directory ( .\ ) I don't know why, but in some cases the variables don't work. In the path previews window "Current parameters with expanded placeholders" everything looks correct.

  When I use the full path to the script, everything works fine
  
  
  
  The problem is where I am using a defined variable path {PS}=.\PS\ , then the script don't not work.
  
  
  
  This is weird and I don't know where the problem is. I checked on several scripts (full path, everything works fine) path with a defined variable (does not work)

  I can't test it right now but you could try to combine {CUR_LOC} and {PS} in Parameters:
  
  ... -File "{CUR_LOC}{PS}\Do...
  or maybe
  ... -File "{CUR_LOC}\{PS}\Do...

  Unfortunately it doesn't work, I've tried many combinations but without success. Only the full defined path works

  And if you try to run it without QAP, using the Run dialog box (Win + R) entering the target app's path and adding the path parameter with ".\PS", does it work?

  if I understood you correctly, I entered in the Run Window. Unfortunately it does not work
  
  "C:\Program Files\PowerShell\7\pwsh.exe" -file ".\PS\UTF-8.ps1"
  or
  "C:\Program Files\PowerShell\7\pwsh.exe" ".\PS\UTF-8.ps1"
  
  I don't really understand how Windows would know the path to my QAP folder

  Of course, you would have here to enter the full path (what would return {CUR_LOC}) before .\PS.

  I reproduced a similar case to yours using a simple batch and a test folder. I had no issue using the combination or the
  
  - "Start In: {CUR_LOC}"
  - a variable "{PS}=.\Test\"
  - and an application favorite's "Parameters" similar to yours "{PS}Test2"
  
  In my understanding, the issue is not caused by QAP.

  Probably you are right.
  
  It is very strange that the problem only occurs when using a placeholder ( .\ )   When I use this combination {PS}=D:\Quick Access Popup\quickaccesspopup\PS\ , everything works 
  
  Parameters
  Works OK
  "D:\Quick Access Popup\quickaccesspopup\PS\Zmień nazwę wszystkich plików txt.ps1"
  
  Does not work
  "{PS}Zmień nazwę wszystkich plików txt.ps1"
