WARNING!
When downloading the NirSoft Utilities... Windows Defender (and probably other anti-virus/anti-malware programs) WILL trigger on a tool called "ProduKey".
This is not a false positive, ProduKey reads product keys and is categorised as potentially unwanted software (PUP).
You can choose to skip downloading it, or make an exception in your anti-virus/anti-malware software.
Purpose (description from the website)
WSCC allows you to install, update, execute and organise the utilities from various system utility suites. WSCC can install and update the supported utilities automatically.
Note
This is not a "QAP tool" as such, but I use tools from Sysinternals (Microsoft), NirSoft and MiTEC.
(And plan to write some posts on several of them).
Windows System Control Center makes it easy to keep track of them. Available in both setup and portable versions.
Favourite
WSCC stores the tools in a pretty deep folder structure so I typically use User Variables to point directly to the folders.
