Hi,
First I want to thank you for being among the firsts to install to v11 and for your positive feedback about the change in the licensing model.
Despite all the test done with the beta users team, having this new release used by a larger number of users revealed some bugs and issues not identified during the beta test. The latest releases fixed these issues. Unfortunately, solving these issues required to change the way the license is saved and how installations are counted. This may have the following impacts for you:
1) Depending on the last version you used, you may have to
save your license code again when launching QAP with the newer release for the first time. You can find your license number in one of the the two emails received when you got your license. For help, see
How do I setup or manage my QAP license? in the QAP knowledge base.
2) If, when launching this new release, you get a "NO INSTALLATIONS LEFT" message, you may also have to
remove obsolete installation codes in your
QAP Shop account. You can get to this page from the QAP
Manage your license dialog box under the
Help menu (select the
Manage your license radio button and click
Continue). You will need the password sent in the other email when you got your license. Enter your email address and this password in the login box on the right side of the page.
After that, follow the instructions in the
Managing your license on QAP Shop website section. In the page with the current installation codes, remove the obsolete code(s). If you are not sure which installation code to remove, do not hesitate to remove all of them. They will be re-saved automatically and silently the next time you will usq QAP on each of you computers.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. If you have questions about the QAP license codes, please post it here.
Thanks for your support,
Jean
