This message is not from QAP. Googling it could help identify the cause? There could be some protection program in your Windows environment that does not like QAP...

I would have suggested these actions. Try disable auto-refresh of the menu (if it is enabled). In Options, Menu tab, disable "Scheduled QAP Menu Refresh" (or, in the quickaccesspopup.ini file, set the value RefreshQAPMenuIntervalSec=0 (under [Global]).
