I’ve been using QAP for sometime now to replace a program called “flash folder” back when I used windows 7.
Today on windows 10 my whole purpose for using QAP is when I have to save a document or any file and inside the save-as dialog: boom I can open QAP and click “Reopen Current Folder in Dialog Box”. Awesome feature just stunning. It automatically navigates to folder I already have open so I can hit save and be done. Such an oversight that PC’s don’t have this already.
Anyway, 1st Problem here:
When I use rdp remote desktop and QAP is installed on the remote PC: I’ll have document or file “save-as” dialog box open and my next step is to execute short cut key sequence to open QAP menu:
I use the shortcut “Ctrl+Ctrl” (left) to open “Reopen Current Folder in Dialog Box”. (see 2nd screenshot). Problem is, in Remote desktop anytime the user hits tries ot use control key and is
holding, QAP unexpectedly interprets as double clicking Ctrl+Ctrl. So when I Control copy or control paste as an example, the QAP menu pops up because it thinks I’m double clicking ctrl but I’m not. If I’m quick enough to Ctrl copy something before QAP menu appears I can work around issue. This problem only happens in the remote PC when I’m using RDP and wondering if you have any insight why RDP thinks I’m clicking ctrl twice when I’m actually pressing it and don’t want QAP menu to open?
*of note the other short cuts to menu using middle mouse won’t cut it since too many drafting Autocad programs conflict and it’s hard ot create exclusion lists for all these since I’ve tried.
2nd Problem I’m currently working around:
QAP is installed on laptop used to remote RDP into another PC. But this ctrl+ctrl is passed to the laptop as well unless I disable QAP on laptop entirely. So right now my work around is just disabling QAP on laptop. Can the program be aware when I’m in remote session actively or not and not call on the wrong PC’s QAP? There are RDP windows settings that I can toggle not to pass keyboard commands to laptop but that’s really not an option since I need those keys to work for other reasons.

Thanks again for all you do
