It would also be nice to be able to sync or import multiple URLs at the same time by selecting a Google Chrome bookmarks folder. The data is located in "Bookmarks.bak". -

This option will be added to the "Favorite, Add Multiple Favorites" dialog box. All favorites in the CSV file will be imported in the selected submenu.
The format would be something like:
FavoriteType,FavoriteName,FavoriteLocation,FavoriteIconResource,FavoriteArguments,FavoriteAppWorkingDir,FavoriteLaunchWith,FavoriteLoginName,FavoritePassword
Fields (to be completed):
FavoriteType: Folder, Document, Application, URL, FTP

I added a rule to support submenus. A submenu starts with an entry of favorite type "Menu-BEGIN" (including menu name, icon, etc.) and ends with a favorite of type "Menu-END" (alone on its line).

Now, we will need converters from various source to this CSV format. This should be relatively easy to write scripts or macro to do this for Directory HotList, Chrome bookmarks or other apps.
You are invited to share these scripts here if you do it. -

I wrote an application to export data from TC Directory hotlist to QAP CSV, but I don't know how, to present the separator that is used in TC.

Type for separator is X (first column, remaining fields empty)
Type for column break separator is K (first column, remaining fields empty) -

Thank you very much for the tip about separators.
Added delimiter processing for TC Dir Hotlist export.
At the moment, only the 'path' parameter in TC is not processed, but to be honest, I have not seen that it would be used by anyone.
To summarize:
from TC are exported:
menu (regular folder)
cmd (command line like: cd c:\Something folder)
- (separator)
-Music (start of sub menu and node name)
-- (end of sub menu)
but:
path (not used for export)

Hello Jean!
I found one nuance when importing into QAP.
If there is a '|' in the TC entry in the menu name, QAP replaces it with 'Сþ€'. This is because QAP sees '|' as a delimiter character.
Example:
TC: Sound|VST|FX|
QAP: SoundСþ€VSTСþ€FX
In that case, I need to describe replacing the '|' character with something else similar.
While I want to replace '|' (Vertical Line U+007C) with '│' (Box Drawings Light Vertical U+2502).
After checking, the QAP accepts the '│' U+2502 symbol normally without change.
It's no rush. If you are willing and able, please write your thoughts on this. -

I'm not sure if I get your point. I had no issue importing in QAP a CSV file including | in the item or menu names, for example:
FavoriteType,FavoriteName,FavoriteLocation
Folder,Sound|VST|FX|,C:\
Menu-BEGIN,Menu Sound|VST|FX|
Folder,My Folder,C:\
Menu-END
I edited this file in my editor, not using your tool. If your tool creates entries with | in names, they should be imported correctly by QAP. -

Have you thought about dealing with hidden items in the menu?
Hidden items start with the hidden char defined by MenuHideChar= under [Configuration] in wincmd.ini. -

No I have not. In this case, I'll look in detail at what is there and then I will write my vision.

Thanks for the follow up. I used your program to convert and had no issue converting my TC Hotlist (except the hidden items). I update the Knowledge Base entry about "Add Multiple Favorites" from of CSV files with tips about the line separator (X) and column breaks (K). I also added CSV requirements if a field includes a comma or double quotes.

I tried again to reproduce a similar situation with 'Сþ€' but could not repeat it. It seems that this was an exception, so I will disable the automatic replacement of the symbol '|', as subsequent tests have shown that QAP handles the loading of fields with this symbol correctly and replacement is not required.

My first idea was that you could just skip them. But if you want to import them as hidden favorites, I'll have to update the CSV import command in QAP to add a field that could be named "FavoriteDisabled" with possible values:
0 favorite enabled and visible
1 favorite disabled and hidden
-1 favorite enabled but hidden in menu (shortcut/hotstring active)
I'll add this in the next bug fix release. Thanks for this development. -

The message about duplicate entries is not displayed if you restart the application completely after deleting and saving the settings. -

No this is not normal. If you restarted QAP before reloading the data you would not get this error.
Fortunately, importing-deleting-reimporting is not an usual scenario for regular users. But this will have to be fixed. I'll investigate this. Thanks for reporting the issue.
