The developer, Pyonkichi, suggested this

InStr(MG_GetExeName(MG_HWND, true), "E:\Games\Steam")==1

as a way to disable MGL when any Steam games are running.  (Screenshot below).


Is it possible to incorporate something like this in QAP?   I tried simply putting "Steam" as a blacklist item, but that didn't work.

This could be done (adding custom AHK conditions to the Blocked/Approved windows).

But before, does the "Get window info" returns info about these games that would allow them to be excluded?

I will add these to my exclusion list.  There doesn't appear to be any commonalities that a single exclusion rule could be based on though.
Yes, you'll have to exclude them separately. Often, the class name is the same for apps of the same family but not here.
