Thank you for taking the time testing the next version of Quick Access Popup and report bugs or comments here.
The goals of these beta tests are to:
- test new features (see the most recent post for a link to the latest version and find out what's new)
- test if new features have any impacts on existing features (regression tests)
New beta releases are announced using the "Check for update" QAP feature. If you run a beta release, you will be alerted for new beta releases. New releases are also announced on this forum.
Please use the public
Quick Access Popup Support Forum to report bugs or send suggestions NOT related to the current beta release features.
About beta releases
Beta releases include new features or fixes to existing features. They can be recognized by their green background QAP icon in the Notification zone. Their version number is usually in the same first-second levels group as the current regular release. For example, if current regular release is v11.3.2, a beta release could be numbered v11.3.9.x. When tested, this beta release could be released as a regular release v11.4.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When using a QAP beta release, I recommend to make frequent backups of your QuickAccessPopup.ini file (daily backups are created automatically during beta tests). I test each new release quite well but we never know. You may use the app in a way that I've not tested yet and find undiscovered bugs. This is why beta testing is so important and beta testers are so valuable.
You can review all changes history in the
beta versions change log.
